What can you expect on the day?

* Read the Highway Code before you attend *

CBT is a training programme that is compulsory for all motorcycle riders. It is not a test, you don’t PASS or FAIL but you have to satisfy the DSA Certified instructors that you have reached the required standards in each of the five elements before you are permitted to proceed. Sometimes it takes more than one day so don’t worry if you don’t get through all the elements. The training gives you a sound basis for your riding progress by equipping you with the necessary information and skills, through classroom talks, practical on-site training and on the road training. We aim to make the day enjoyable and informative and encourage pupils to participate as fully as possible.

When you turn up you will need to bring with you:
Your license (both the card and the paper counterpart if its a relatively new one)

Payment for the course by cash, cheque or prior arrangement.

If you wear glasses or contact lenses bring them with you.

Clothing that will give you protection, approved motorcycle clothing is the best  however, if you don't have any then a heavy jacket, trousers, heavy soled shoes/boots may be used. Please do contact us if you have any questions.

Be at the training school (see map for details) for 08:30.
Expect to finish by around 17:00.
We are able to provide you with a safety helmet and gloves to use for the training if you don't have your own.
